Golden Paws Candle Company wants you to feel good about the candles you are burning in your home, around your family and with your furry best friends. All of our candles are hand poured in small batches with 100% soy wax, phthalate free fragrances oils and cotton braided wicks.
BUT.....We want to do so much more!
That is why it is always our goal to have candles scented with Fragrance Oils that are 100% free of the following items:
- Carcinogens-Materials known or thought to cause cancer
- Mutagens-Materials that change DNA of a cell
- Reproductive Toxins-Toxins that adversely affect reproductive organs
- Organ Toxins-Toxins that can cause adverse effects within specific organs
- Acute Toxins-Toxins that can cause adverse effects from accidental exposure
While most of our candles already adhere to these standards, the fragrance industry and the standards that are set by IFRA (International Fragrance Association) and our suppliers are constantly evolving. So while we may have a few outliers in the bunch, don't worry! Those candles will all be placed under our Sales tab with a note that this candle no longer adheres to our standards.
And remember that because of these standards, we generally recognize our candles to be safe around your furry best friends (dogs and cats)! However, it is important to know your pet and how they might react to certain smells (especially since they have 300 million olfactory sensors in their noses compared to our 6 million).
