Welcome to our little candle family! We are so glad that you are here!

I am Kate (Girl, Human) and that is Louie (Boy, Dog, Golden Retriever) and we are the owners of Golden Paws Candle Company (Yes, Louie too!)

Golden Paws Candle Company was started how most businesses are....with a small idea on how I could work for myself while producing a product that people love. Originally inspired by Louie, I named the company after him and strive to provide a product that reminds people of why life is good. With every scent, I believe in the memory associated with a certain smell and hopefully can give that feeling to people who buy our candles. I can't count how many times a customer has come up to us at one of our shows, smelled our candles and said, "OMG! That reminds me of...."(you fill in the blank). And with every comment that we get like that, I know we are succeeding at our mission.

Comprised of 100% Natural Soy Wax, each candle is hand poured in my home based workshop in Mishawaka, Indiana, all without phthalates and dyes. And one of the best parts of our candle is being able to take it wherever you go! Yes, you read that right! Our original and favorite candle comes in a cute and convenient travel tin rather than a glass jar that can easily break. And what sets me apart from your average candle maker is that I am continuing to educate myself on the industry and the standards for fragrance to provide not only a quality product, but one that is safe for the consumer. Not only do we use all natural, 100% Soy Wax, a clean burning wax for the environment, but we also include fragrance oils that have been tested and exclude harsh and harmful ingredients.

I have always loved a feel good brand, one that gives back and supports a cause and I wanted to make sure that I was part of that market when we first started Golden Paws Candle Company. So with every purchase, we donate a portion of our profits, at least 10% to dog organizations, humane societies or shelters in need. I am continually inspired by organizations and groups that put their boots on the ground and rescue dogs every day and we want to make sure we try to give back in any way we can. In the past year, we have been able to donate to at least 12 different organizations working and helping dogs around the United States and overseas. In the coming months, I hope to add more organizations to that list and continue to grow and serve the community of dog lovers.
