Our treat journey began in 2020 when our golden retriever Mia, was just a puppy. We began making frozen treats that she loved! As we learned more about healthy homemade treats for dogs we began to experiment more and our baking journey began.
In 2021 our Husky, Bailey was diagnosed with an aggressive form of stomach cancer and unfortunately passed away soon after her diagnosis. We decided as a family then and there we wanted to make a change to our dogs diets. We began to implement fresh, homemade foods to their meals.
In 2022 we took a leap and acquired our license in Indiana and officially began baking healthy treats made with simple and organic ingredients. Since starting our journey we have come to understand the importance of canine nutrition and how vital it is to ensure a healthy life.
Most recently in December, 2023 our beloved Mia lost her battle with cancer, a cancer vets didn’t see coming. Unfortunately many of our pets are simply at high risk due to genetics and all we can do is be vigilant in the time we have with them. Cancer is the leading cause of death in dogs, a statistic that we’d like to help change. Being animal lovers and dog parents we understand wanting only the best for our fur babies. Our commitment will always be to provide treats made without preservatives or chemicals that can be detrimental to our pet’s health
