How long do our soy candles burn?

This is probably the most asked question we get through our email as well as in person at craft shows. This is actually a very good question. To feed you a little bit of general soy candle information first, soy candles tend to burn longer than your average store bought, paraffin wax candle. Soy wax is a 100% biodegradable substance that makes soy wax spills much easier to clean up as well as a much cleaner burning candle. Paraffin wax is tough to clean up, if at all, burns much faster than soy due to the petroleum base which accelerates the burn, and burns dirty when compared to a clean burning soy candle.

When it comes to our candles specifically, our average burn times are as follows:

-2oz candles burn an average of 8-10 hours

-4oz candles burn an average of 20-25 hours

-8oz candles burn an average of 25-38 hours

While this may not be an exact representation of all of our candles, this does represent a fair average. Since our selection stretches quite wide and there are many different scents, some of the candles may burn a little faster or slower based on the chemical make up of the scent.
